DATABASE

Database is the set of information of one particular subject. A database can be manual or electronic. It contains files also known as tables. These tables contain records which have fields that contain data items. The three operations are editing, inserting and deleting. There are also some data types such as number, text and date. The 4 common database objects are tables, query, form and report. An advantage of a database over a spreadsheet is that it is easier to query, that is, easier to retrieve selected information out of the whole database.
